We are a community of ordinary people who love Jesus, showing our kids and youth how ordinary people follow Jesus.

Did you know that nearly 70% of teenagers walk away from the church after high school (Earls, 2019)? Over the years, teenagers have been increasingly segregated from worship and community with adults.

Apologist Frank Turek once said “What we win them with we win them to.”

We aim to win our kids and youth with a loving and nurturing family of faith, where it is safe to wonder about who God is, ask questions, and find Him to be trustworthy. A place where they can experience what it means to be a part of the family of God, where they can come as they are. Our middle and high schoolers meet on the first Sunday each month during the service to learn what the Bible has to say about life and relationships, and experience fellowship in the family of God.

We focus on three questions:

  • Who am I?

  • Where do I fit in God’s story?

  • What difference can I make?

Our vision is to “flip the script” on traditional youth group, in which one adult typically oversees a larger groups of students. Instead, we desire for each student to have many trusted adults speaking truth into their lives, and participating in a legacy of faith-building.

We encourage our middle and high school students to volunteer on a Serve Team. Whether that’s in the kids ministry, on the music team, or setting up early on Sunday morning, many ages serving God and His family together is part of our Intergenerational model of ministry.

We also desire to walk alongside adults as they are raising children to know and love Jesus. We aim to provide regular opportunities for training and encouragement that are available to anyone involved in a young person’s life.
