CHRIST COMMUNITY CHURCH IS COMMITTED TO BEING A CHURCH NOT FOR OURSELVES, BUT ALWAYS REACHING OUT FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS—PROCLAIMING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS IN WORD AND DEED. ONE WAY THAT WE SEEK TO ACCOMPLISH THIS IS BY FORGING PARTNERSHIPS WITH Organizations that share the love and hope of Jesus in our community and around the world.

We Designate 10% of our giving income each year to give to these organizations. In addition, we hold food & Supply drives and encourage people to serve as a volunteer when needed!

PiN Ministry

PiN Ministry exists to provide food, clothing, shelter, and free medical care for people who are either homeless or extremely poor. The ultimate focus is to help the homeless of Hampton Roads transform their lives by meeting them where they are and sharing a God that loves them and wants a relationship with them. We partner with PiN Ministry both financially, and by volunteering to serve those in our area in need of assistance.

Young Life

Young Life is an outreach ministry to middle school, high school, and college students, including kids with disabilities. Young Life seeks to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Young Life reaches kids by building relationships with them first, thus earning the right to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

In addition to our financial support of Young Life, Christ Community Church is home to many volunteer leaders in Virginia Beach. We seek to be a church where Young Life leaders can bring the kids they are reaching with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Agape International Missions (AIM)

Agape International Missions (AIM) is a Christ-led, non-denominational, not-for-profit organization that exists to glorify God through their dedicated efforts to love, protect, and care for survivors of trafficking as well as other vulnerable and exploited individuals.

Through a holistic approach of rescuing, restoring and reintegrating survivors of trafficking and preventing sexual slavery, AIM seeks to meet survivors’ spiritual, emotional, social, educational and physical needs. The intention is that they may come to know their worth and value in Christ, develop a dependence on Him, and develop skills for a sustainable life.

Just One Opportunity

The mission of Just One Opportunity is to break the cycle of poverty in remote villages of Nicaragua through the practical expression of Christ's love. This is done by providing basic education and small business training, meeting practical needs, and through evangelism.

Just One Opportunity was founded by Roger and Mary-Blake Orozco. Roger was born and raised in a remote village in Nicaragua. Just One Opportunity strives to minister to his village and other remote villages of Nicaragua. Roger works with Christ Community Church to raise up and train pastors in these villages. Though the ministry originated in Roger’s home village, Just One Opportunity has recently built a training center strategically located in Sebaco, Nicaragua to serve all twelve villages in the area.

Through our monthly financial support, as well as our prayers, our hope is to support the ministry that Just One Opportunity has established in the villages of Nicaragua.

Manna Ministry of Tidewater

The mission of Manna Ministry is to stand in the gap by providing emergency food assistance to Tidewater community families, while sharing hope in Jesus Christ.

Manna Ministry fills the gap from when crisis strikes to when families can receive services from the state and other non-profit organizations. It is a first step in the path out of poverty and misery. These families have no safety net and are primarily single mothers desperately trying to provide the foundational necessities of life; food and shelter. Usually, these mothers have applied for food stamps yet are waiting for them to arrive (usually a period of 2-4 weeks). Your help, generosity, and prayers can immediately fill stomachs, establish connections for long-term improvement, and demonstrate to our families how the love of Christ pursues them and finds them, wherever they are. An integral pillar of the ministry is the opportunity to connect our families with organizations created to provide them with education, training, and mentorship.

While we support Manna Ministry financially as a church, there are also numerous opportunities to serve - during the week, on the weekend, once a month, or whenever you can!
